Malaysia- one visitor, one tree

 

In a smart move, the country requires all visitors in a community to plant a tree.


In order to preserve nature, to tie visitors to nice memories and perhaps determine them to come back, as well as to cool down accusations of green associations that the country does not pay enough attention to environment, Malaysia has started a program where each visitor is invited to plant a tree during its journey into a community.
